Cardi B & Offset Connect For New Song 'Um Yea

Hip-hop’s newest power couple teamed up for a collaborative effort on Quality Control’s Control The Streets: Vol 1 compilation project. “Um Yea” features Offset setting the tone at a slower pace than usual before Cardi B echoes her boyfriend’s cadence shortly after the two-minute mark. 

After Cardi’s abbreviated verse concludes, Offset hops in to finish off the the cymbal-filled track. One interesting thing to note about the intoxicating record is how the Atlanta native opens the track saying, “We having a chick, by the way.” Could Cardi be pregnant, or is the Without Warning artist just trying to talk something into existence?

Either way, the recently engaged couple’s offering is just part of the 30-track album, which enlists industry stars including QC’s own, Migos and Lil Yachty, in addition to Nicki Minaj, Young Thug, Gucci Mane, Ty Dolla $ign and other special guests.
